Agreement

These Terms govern your use of First Day Sign. By using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

First Day Sign provides a browser-based editor for creating printable first- and last-day-of-school signs. The current version is free, requires no account, and may be changed or discontinued without notice.

Permitted use

You may use exported signs for personal, family, classroom, school, and other non-misleading uses. You may print, photograph, and share the finished signs you create.

You may not resell or redistribute the template library, copy the service as a competing template collection, interfere with the website, bypass security controls, or use the service unlawfully.

Your information and exports

You are responsible for the information you place on a sign and for deciding where the resulting file or photo is shared. You retain rights in the personal content you enter. We do not claim ownership of your completed sign export.

Use share-safe mode when appropriate and review the final image before posting information about a child publicly.

Intellectual property

The First Day Sign website, brand, interface, original template designs, and source content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. The permission to use finished exports does not transfer ownership of the underlying template system or brand.

Availability and warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every browser or printer, or that every export will meet a particular print provider's requirements. Check the preview and print settings before producing multiple copies.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, First Day Sign will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the free service will not exceed the amount you paid to use it, which is currently zero.

Changes

We may revise these Terms as the product evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
